#Solstice squad out tonight. We got upriver as far as the weir, where a young seal decided to say hello. Heading back down river we met some #paddleboarders
Out with some novices today: Julian and Mark did really well on their first rows, swapping over the 2 and 3 positions to try rowing both port and starboard. A grand morning on the water all in!
Visitors from Bilbao scoping out the river ahead of their participation in @castletocrane in September. Lovely to meet them all!
Checked out the Degree show for @gsa_design student Amandine, who visited us a few weeks back to get some info for her Masters’ project on the Clyde. Well done Amandine!
Open sessions are back up and running. Search ‘Glasgow Coastal Rowing Club’ on Eventbrite to book a place and come and try it!
Lucky to have a preview today of the West Boathouse on Glasgow Green, which is undergoing a huge rejuvenation project at the moment. Can’t wait to see the finished article!

Members are reminded that annual subscriptions are now due. If you haven't already done it now would be a good time!
On Wednesday night GCRC was pleased to receive an achievement of the month award from the Sports Council for Glasgow. Convener Fiona received the award from Dilawer Singh, a £100 Decathlon voucher.
