#Swan central over on the #RiverClyde today. Also very blowy! #coastalrowing #Kelvinharbour #RiverKelvin #Glasgow #Scotland
#StillFloating - a nice way of describing both the skiffs and how I feel about #coronalife at the moment! #staylesskiff #scottishcoastalrowing #glasgowhumanesociety #KelvinHarbourPontoons
#berniesanders #scottishcoastalrowing #StAylesSkiff Bernie is welcome to come rowing when the pandemic is a distant memory.
The view from the clubhouse. Very cold and icy. #frozenriver #RiverClyde #Glasgow #winterlandscape #Coastalrowing #clinker #boatlife #sportscotland #scottishcoastalrowing #StAylesSkiff #kelvinharbourpontoon
Mega #frosty down at the pontoons today! Treacherously slippy too. #coastalrowing #coronalife #safetycheck #clinker #boats #StAylesSkiff #KelvinHarbour #scotland
Not long to go until we can get back on the water. Just some signage to put in place and then we can email our members the news! #coastalrowing #coronalife #safetyfirst #ScottishCoastalrowing #StAylesSkiff #Glasgow #waterbabies
Down at the pontoons clearing debris from below with these furry assistants checking on my success. #Glasgow #CoastalRowing #pontoonlife #clubmaintenance #airedales
The mighty #RiverClyde looking fine this evening. Just had a wee seat in one of our #staylesskiff #boats to remind me what it feels like to be on water. One day we’ll be back at it! #Glasgow #outdoors #coastalrowing #yearofcoastsandwaters2020
Our #StAylesSkiffs dancing on the breeze tonight in the sun - the calm before the the forecast rain tomorrow. Hopefully it won’t be too long before we can get back on the water as a crew. #scottishcoasatalrowing #Glasgow #Clinker #KelvinHarbourPontoons #yearofcoastsandwaters2020 #rowinglife

A few rules

Rowing is fun but we do need a few rules to keep everyone safe and avoid accidents. Briefly:
  • Wear a life vest when in the skiff
  • The Skipper decides:
    • if it's safe to row
    • whether a member is fit to row

Please read the rules in full
