The AGM was held on Thursday 19 January 2023, 18:30 at Hyndland Bowling Club, Queensborough Gardens, Glasgow G12 9QN
Fiona MacLeod stood down as Convenor but no nomination were for the post were forthcoming. Ross Ritchie and Susie Taylor were re-elected as Treasurer and Secretary respectively.Fiona remains a member of the Committee along with Ian Watson and Tom Malone.
The lack of members willing to help run the club is very disappointing. The committee needs representation from members who are interested in racing, regattas and engaging with the wider coastal rowing community. The first task of the new committee will be to call an Extraordinary General Meeting at which members will be asked elect a Convenor. Without a Convenor we do not have an effective body to run the club and its future will therefore be in doubt.
